Stagstar leaped gracefully branch to branch as his long legs pushed off from one to another. His claws made little sound on the soft bark of the oak tree. His blue flecked, cutting eyes, looked across the clearing. The cats were all in the usual groups, he shrugged and shook his head. He looked at the new cats, there were three of them in all, all of them healthy and fit. He smiled satisfied. The white she-cat, Ivystreak looked up at Stagstar and smiled. He flicked his tail down to her in greeting and looked away. The New-Leaf breeze ruffled his pelt a bit so he licked down the hair on his chest. He looked to the apprentices to see the new apprentice, Hollypaw, talking with Cresentpaw and the other new apprentice, Screechpaw. He flicked his tail. It was time to announce them all.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey join for a clan meeting beneath Twisted Tree!" His voice flowed around the clearing. He smiled as the three new cats did as they were supposed to do, without a second thought about it. His small clan looked up at him with expectation glowing in their eyes. The breeze blew again, and a few cat flattened their ears in distaste.
"First off I would like to welcome a warrior, Ivystreak!" Stormingstar nodded to the pure white she-cat with bright green eyes. Everyone looked at the new she-cat and nodded to her in welcome, then they turned back to Stagstar so that he could continue with his announcements.
"We also have two apprentices! Would Screechpaw and Hollypaw step forward please?" The twp apprentices did as they were told. Both of them looked up at him with shimmering eyes. The toms eyes were very blue and the she-cats eyes were very green. Both of them looked exited, behind them Cresentpaw watched, her silver eyes glittering. He looked at Screechpaw, he was a well muscled cat, he looked very strong and capable of bringing down a cat twice his size. He would make a great fighter! He looked at Hollypaw who was look up at him expectantly. Her green eyes glittering.
"Do you both promise to uphold the warrior code, defend your clan to the best of you abilities and obey me and your mentors at all times as long as it is in the best interest of the clan?" Stagstar let his gaze look from apprentice to apprentice. They both nodded before they realized that they were supposed to speak instead.
"I do." Screechpaw said first. His eyes glittering up at Stagstar with pure determination in them.
"Then from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Screechpaw." The muscular tabby and white apprentice smiled widely. "Your mentor will be Ivystreak." Ivystreak stepped forward and dipped her head before she touched noses with her new apprentice.
He turned his gaze to Hollypaw who was waiting until everyone else had finished speaking. "I do." She spoke with determination. Her green eyes flickered and the breeze ruffled her pelt again.
"Than from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Hollypaw." Hollypaw purred and flicked her tail happily. "Your mentor will be Scatteredbird." Scatteredbird stepped forward. Her long silvery and brown pelt shimmered when she bent down to touch noses with her new apprentice.
"That is all! Clan dismissed!" He yowled finally and leaped down to his sister to speak with her shortly. Before he padded to his den to rest.

"Hi." He blinked. He flicked his tail back and forth.
-Screechpaw
She hissed under her breath. "Umm do I get a hi? I'm standing right next to him..." She said a bit bluntly.
-Cresentpaw
She held back a hiss. She was kinda hard to miss, her jet black pelt against the pure white snow. Instead of retorting her silver eyes flashed.
-Cresentpaw
He looked around, his eyes wandering a bit around the new camp.
-Screechpaw
"I was actually going to show Screechpaw around." She muttered. "But I can just stay here alone." She almost glared at Ivystreak. Everyone keeps ignoring her, at least her mentor, Stagstar, wouldn't.
-Cresentpaw
"Sorry Cresentpaw." He chuckled. "It's not like the clan will change while we are gone though." He flicked his tail.
-Screechpaw
"Sure!" She smiled. She looked at Cresentpaw. "We can bring Cresentpaw too..." She shot a glance at Stagstar's den and thought he was probably sleeping.
"Don't hit a tree." She laughed and kept a fast pace right behind Scatteredbird, who was pelting through the forest.
-Cresentpaw
He didn't notice the two she-cats. He kept his eyes ahead of him.
-Screechpaw
"Better let me lead, I know the way better." She called over to Ivystreak with a smile.
-Scatteredbird
She stopped. "It's a little dangerous..." She looked up at the trees. It wouldn't be very safe and she didn't want the apprentices to get hurt. "I think we should stick to battle training today." She bit her lip. She didn't want to spoil any fun but she didn't want anyone hurt.
-Scatteredbird
"The training hollow is right up here!" She called from ahead.
-Cresentpaw
He raced over to Cresentpaw and looked at the large snow dusted clearing.
-Screechpaw
"I already know most of them." She smiled lightly. Her eyes flashed. Her pelt ruffled in the breeze. "But I could use a refresher." She flicked her tail.
-Cresentpaw
He looked at Cresentpaw for a moment before turning back to the warriors.
-Screechpaw
She crouched. "Okay I am going to do the back kick first." She looked at Ivystreak. "Ready?" She asked.
-Scatteredbird
(I have to play Ivystreak a bit here.)
"Excuse me for being polite than. Is this better: You mangy flea bag!" She purred. She leaped to beside Ivystreak. She then pulled her back legs out and thrusted them into the she-cats side, making her fall to the ground and was easily pinned by Scatteredbird.
-Scatteredbird
He blinked. "Great kick Scatteredbird!" He meowed.
-Screechpaw
She smiled. "Can I try next?" She asked kindly.
-Cresentpaw
She crouched. She did the exact same thing as Scatteredbird has done, but she did it with much more grace and speed. She brought her hind paws back and thrust them out, stopping them right on Hollypaw's flank so that she didn't actually knock over her clan mate.
-Cresentpaw
"Excellent! Stagstar would be proud." She smiled. "And good job not actually hitting Hollypaw, your bigger than her and have had more training so you could have hurt her." She smiled. "Great discipline!" She looked over. "Screechpaw your turn!" she smiled.
-Scatteredbird
He didn't move. He looked at Hollypaw and stepped away. It was his turn.
-Screechpaw
"Good job Hollypaw!" She smiled.
-Scatteredbird
He did exactly what the others had done, not as gracefully but he looked much more powerful. His muscles rippled under his pelt. He trusted his hind paws out stopping on Hollypaw's flank.
-Screechpaw
He dipped his head to the warriors. "Thank you." He muttered. He sat back down.
-Screechpaw
"I have a battle move! It's really simple! Can I teach it?" She asked excitedly.
-Cresentpaw
"Sure, why not." She purred.
-Scatteredbird
She jumped in front of Screechpaw. "Try to jump on me." She instructed. When he did as he was told and stretched his paws out she twisted away from him in mid-are. So gracefully it looked like she was flying. Once she had avoided his paws she brought her paw down on his head, pretend slamming it, and she landed on his back after the impact on his head brought him to his belly. "I win!" She purred.
-Cresentpaw
"That was really impressive. I don;t think I could have avoided his paws like that!" She muttered.
-Scatteredbird
"First cat to ever be able to pin me." He chuckled and sat down and licked down his chest fur.
-Screechpaw
Her ears flushed. She looked at her paws. "Thanks." She muttered.
-Cresentpaw
"We should head back to camp." She sighed. "We can do hunting training tomorrow if you wish but for now we should go home and rest." She stood.
-Scatteredbird
"Great I'm starving!" He laughed.
-Screechpaw
He ran into camp and grabbed a thrush and laid to to eat it.
-Screechpaw
She grabbed herself a mouse and sat alone, not going near Screechpaw or Hollypaw.
-Cresentpaw
He padded out of his den to Scatteredbird and Ivystreak. "How did Cresentpaw do?" He asked smiling.
-Stagstar
"Thanks." He continued eating his thrush.
-Screechpaw
"Really! Thats great!" He purred.
-Stagstar
He nodded. "Thank you for taking Cresentpaw." He blinked and smiled.
-Stagstar
He finished his thrush and licked his lips. He looked at Cresentpaw, who was eating alone. "We should call her over." He blinked, she looked so lonely.
-Screechpaw
"Cresentpaw! Come over here!" He called her over with a smile.
-Screechpaw
She grabbed her food and trotted over. She laid down next to Hollypaw. "Hey." She smiled.
-Cresentpaw
"Am I still showing you two around?" She asked nicely.
-Cresentpaw
"Sure." He smiled.
-Screechpaw
(Does Hollypaw not like Cresentpaw? Or do you not? Because you really seem like you dont...)
(You were treating her like she was invisible yesterday though...)
"Are you two done?" She asked.
-Cresentpaw
